RCVDA Volunteer Award Ceremony held on 5 June 2009 at Gisborough Hall

Over 200 volunteers celebrated their contribution to Redcar & Cleveland at RCVDA's annual award ceremony at Gisborough Hall. Guests were given a rousing welcome by the Boomdang Samba Band from Lingdale Primary School. Over 450 certificates were presented to voluntary and community groups and individuals by Vera Baird MP. Sponsors of the event, including members of the Redcar & Cleveland Partnership, presented trophies to the winners of the ten categories.
