Redcar & Cleveland Partnership

The Redcar and Cleveland partnership exists to; 'make Redcar and Cleveland an attractive place to live, visit, work and invest’. Local Strategic Partnership's (LSP’s) bring together public sector agencies (such as local authority, police, health trusts) and other stakeholders (voluntary and community groups, businesses and local people) to ‘set out the vision of an area and coordinate and drive the delivery of local services leading to improved outcomes that go beyond the remit of one partner, promoting and guiding the social, economic and environmental enhancement of the Borough’.

The two key roles of this partnership are to:

  • Drive the delivery of the boroughs Local Area Agreement
  • Co-ordinate and deliver the Boroughs Sustainable Community Strategy

RCVDA represents the views and interests of it's membership and the wider voluntary and community sector at board level and on each of the four thematic partnerships: Safer Stronger Communities, Sustainable Communites, the Health & Well Being Partnership and the Children's Trust.
