February 2013

Thousands of people are increasingly benefiting from volunteering as a way of making good use of their free time and as a route back into employment.

Volunteer Centres in Redcar & Cleveland and Middlesbrough are holding their annual Volunteer Recruitment Fair at Middlesbrough College on Wednesday 27th February from 11:00am until 3:00pm.

A free shuttle bus from Middlesbrough Bus Station will run every 20 minutes to and from the college.

The organisers said:

“There will be up to 35 voluntary organisations at the fair who will be hoping to recruit volunteers and we’d like to invite everyone in our communities to come along and find out more about their work and how you can help.

You can also find out more about the broad and extensive range of learning and training opportunities that Middlesbrough College has to offer for people of all ages.

If you can't make it on the day, you can contact your local volunteer centre for an appointment or alternatively visit  and apply online.
