Role Description
The Junction Foundation are seeking a reliable, friendly driver to support their internal services by safely transporting children and young people.
This ad-hoc role offers flexible hours, making it ideal for those needing work around other commitments.
Applicants should ideally live within the organisation’s service areas, specifically Redcar & Cleveland Local Authority and Middlesbrough Local Authority, to support vehicle handover and cost efficiency however if you are interested please contact them for a further discussion.
Purpose of the Role
- To transport children and young people to and from locations across the Tees Valley as directed in a safe and professional manner.
- Safeguarding children and young people by reporting any observations and/or concerns immediately.
- Plan efficient and safe transport routes, taking into account the time of day and weather conditions.
- Take responsibility for the vehicles’ care and maintenance in conjunction with the Admin Team.
- Ensure vehicles are clean and tidy before and after use.
