Role Description

The Junction Foundation are seeking two Detached Youth Support Workers with experience of working within an informal environment to join their street-based teams.

Full training will be given but they are looking for people with experience in working with vulnerable young people to engage them in developmental opportunities.

The Foundation are looking for motivated, engaging and committed people with a passion and experience in supporting local children and young people and who enjoy learning new skills.

They are proud of their reputation and believe that all of their workers are key to establishing positive relationships, building trust, self-belief, a sense of family and belonging.

Purpose of the Role

  • To support service delivery through Detached Youth Work within communities and
    neighbourhoods.
  • To assist in the planning, delivery, evaluation and recording of activities and support for young people working within the principles and values of The Junction at all times.
  • To support positive outcomes for children and young people including assisting in the planning, evaluation and recording of activities.
