Children’s lives are increasingly digital as they spend more time online than ever. But as the digital world continues to evolve at a remarkable rate, the threats presented to children’s safety intensify.

This is an essential national conference for the entire children’s workforce. Better Health Programme – Invitation to Public Engagement Events in February

The Better Health Programme is about how the NHS can provide better care for patients.

All to be held 9.30am – 4.30pm at Teesside University (Campus identified below)

Managing Positive Dementia Care
The workshop will enable participants to:

Refresh their understanding of the nature of Dementia – its symptoms and causes
Explore the impact and experience of Dementia for the individual and those who support them.
Identify practical strategies for managing the needs of people with Dementia
Explore opportunities for their service to meet needs effectively
Recognise the needs of their workforce in providing effectively for people with Dementia

Dementia Awareness for Care Workers
The themes will include:

Please ensure that staff receive the instructions as they contain important information re training location. If you have not received joining instructions at least two weeks before the course please contact us.

Please note that this training is provided FREE OF CHARGE. However failure to attend will incur a charge of £80 per place and an invoice will be sent accordingly. Cancellations can be made up to and including 10 calendar days of the course date. Cancellations after this time will incur a charge of £80 per place and you will be invoiced. Name changes are welcome via email. Please note that refreshments are not provided however there are facilities around the campus.
