May meeting
The next Voices for Volunteers forum meeting is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 14th May at Redcar’s newest facility The Palace Hub, 28-29 Esplanade, Redcar TS10 3AE. 9.30 am – 12.30pm.
We have invited John Carlin, Quality Programme Manager from NCVO (National Council for Voluntary Organisations) to join us. Volunteer England and NCVO have recently merged and John will give an update on the merger, talk about the development of quality standards for volunteer involving organisations – Investment in Volunteers and chat generally on the benefits of Good Practice in Volunteer Management.
Also MVDA have recently introduced a new service offering affordable graphic design for the voluntary and community sector. Hannah Clarke will be at the meeting to introduce this service with some examples of projects she has undertaken and will be available to answer any questions you may have.
Unfortunately the Palace Hub does not have parking facilities – the nearest car park is on Turner St which is just off the Esplanade – postcode TS10 1AY.
