The Chancellor’s Autumn statement gave local councils the power to increase social care funding through a new 2% Council Tax precept (approximately £1 million in Redcar and Cleveland)
Councillor David Walsh, Cabinet Member for Adult Services has written a letter to the sector which outlines some key issues he would appreciate your response to.
