Building on the work undertaken by VCS colleagues and RCBC officers, Redcar & Cleveland are now looking to implement a new approach to assets across the borough.
On Friday 31st March there is an opportunity for you to join in and widen this discussion and potentially identify assets that might be of use to your organisation or the wider sector. Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council staff are also keen to listen to you and to identify the best way of getting any identified assets into the hands of the voluntary and community sector. This may take many form including transfer, pepper corn lease etc. Assets are not restricted to buildings but may also include pieces of land so if you are looking to develop a community garden, play park or sports pitch come along and be part of the discussion.
The event will take place between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm in Rooms 2&3 at the Community Heart in Redcar on Friday 31st March 2017. If you or anyone you know is interested in attending please let me know and I can make sure that there is space for everyone.
