CIRCLES OF LIFE

Queen Street Redcar
We are a learning disability service with a shop selling new and donated goods. The role would be to support people with a learning disability in the shop, giving change etc. also helping them with life skills and various other activities, eg cookery, gardening, crafts , keep fit etc.
We believe in pets as therapy so we are raising funds for a community petting farm.
We would like volunteers who can motivate and encourage our people to get the best of what life can offer.

FRADE

Volunteers are needed to help with the movement and display of furniture at a charity shop specialising in recycled furniture. This will involve lifting and carrying furniture from delivery vehicles into the shop, and out of the shop onto vehicles delivering to purchasers. Volunteers in this role will also help with quality control, including the repair of incoming donated goods. They will also be needed to assist with the display and sale of goods. A regular commitment of at least four hours per week is preferred, but this organisation can be flexible.

Kidney Research UK Charity Shop in Redcar

Kidney Research UK are looking for new volunteers to join #Teamkidney
Our charity retail shop in the High Street of Redcar is packed with great donations and we rely on the support of volunteers to open the shop 7 days per week – raising vital funds for kidney research and kidney patients throughout the UK.
Our volunteer team are a real mix of people – some have been volunteering with the charity for over 15 years – we think this speaks volumes for the charities volunteer programme and the great team spirit in the Redcar shop. Many of our volunteers have gone on to gain employment, utilising their experience and skills gained whilst volunteering.
The volunteer role is varied and would include sorting and preparing donations for sale, dealing with customers and serving on the till. Travel expenses will be paid.
