Down at the Farm we have been aware of the hard work that the Friends of Westfield Farm – History group have been doing over the past few months in preparing for a two day event taking place this weekend. This event has been organised to celebrate the centenary of the building of Dormanstown as we know it.
The marquee is full of photos and memories of Dormanstown including one of the “Bug and Flea” picture house. Other activities include a living history performance by the Time Bandits, juggling and to eat there will be a hog roast and plenty of ice-cream.
