Do you use social care?

Do you care for someone who uses social care?

Are you interested in social care research?

Would you like to tell us your views about social care research?

Date: Thursday 3rd October 2019
Venue: The Energy Hub, 81, Stranton Street, Hartlepool TS24 7QT
Time: 12 midday sandwich lunch, coffee/tea start at 12.30 and finish by 2.30pm

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) aims to improve research into adult social care and wants to find out what matters to users of social care. We are the Research Design Service North East and North Cumbria (RDS NENC). We have been invited to consult with users of social care, and people caring for people who use social care, to help the NIHR to develop the national strategy for social care research.

In order to gain your views on what the key research areas are that need prioritising, we would like to invite you to a consultation (discussion) event. This event will allow people from the North East and North Cumbria to have an input into developing a national strategy for research in social care.
To thank you for your time and input into this consultation we will be able to refund your travel expenses and provide a gift voucher as a token of our appreciation.

Places will be limited so in order to register an interest in attending please email: rdsnenc.PPI@ncl.ac.uk stating your contact details, any dietary requirements and any relevant information about your links or interest in social care research. If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the RDS NENC Public Involvement team on the email above.
