Coatham House Projects is a long standing charity working across the borough of Redcar and Cleveland. We are a small registered charity providing temporary supported housing and resettlement to young people aged 16 to 24 years of age. We also work with homeless clients that have been temporally accommodated by Redcar and Cleveland’s Housing Advice Service, supporting them to successfully move on into independent accommodation.

We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and suitably experienced Tenant Support Worker to join our existing team.

Tenant Support Worker– 20 hours per week
(Some evening and weekend work may be required).
Based in Redcar £17,745.00 per annum, pro rata.

The successful applicant will work as part of a team providing person centred, housing related support to males/females in dispersed accommodation owned by Coatham House and in clients own accommodation. The ideal candidate will be client focused, have good organisational and people skills, be able to demonstrate the ability to adapt to situations and have a flexible approach. We are looking for committed people who are able to work on their own initiative with individuals with multiple and challenging support needs and be responsible for the intensive housing management to our clients.

You will have experience of working with people with complex needs, assessment and support planning, risk assessments, trauma informed approaches and a sound knowledge of relevant legislation. Most importantly, you should have the drive and commitment and personal values required to enable people to realise their potential.

Employment will be subject to a suitable D.B.S. check and satisfactory references.
