School holidays can create challenges for families. That is why Middlesbrough Council and Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council are working together to distribute over £1 million worth of funding from the Department for Education for organisations to deliver free holiday clubs for all eligible children and young people across the South Tees.
We are looking for organisations to deliver clubs across South Tees during the Easter school holidays. Applications are welcomed from any type of organisation, whether a charity, social enterprise, school, college, commercial company, or another type of organisation. Delivery models will differ and innovative ideas are encouraged. We cannot use any of the funding for February half term delivery.

Redcar and Cleveland Pension Credit Campaign

Redcar and Cleveland Welfare Rights are leading on this campaign over the next three months, it is estimated that there are approximately 3000 people living in Redcar and Cleveland who have not claimed this benefit despite being eligible, with average payments working out at approximately £3000 per year.

Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council – Adults Courses for the Voluntary Sector
We are currently offering a range of adult courses accessible to members of the community and to voluntary sector (please see attached document).
We believe our Safeguarding and Prevent, Equality and Diversity, and Introduction to Volunteering qualifications may be of particular interest for local organisations and charities.
