Community Fundraiser – St John Ambulance

Context of Role

St John Ambulance is the name of a number of affiliated organisations in different countries which teach and provide first aid and emergency medical services, and are primarily staffed by volunteers.

Role Description

The great thing about this Community Fundraiser role is that there are many different ways you can get involved and there’s no minimum or maximum time commitment involved.

You will be helping St John Ambulance to raise awareness and donations to enable them to continue to help save lives through First Aid.

Purpose of the Role

Ways you can get involved:

  • Placing collection tins in your local area.
  • Organising and/or attending bucket collections.
  • Organising your own events.
  • Event cheering.
  • Researching.
  • Delivering talks to community groups.
  • Holding stalls at community events.

You can do as many of the above as you wish, with no minimum commitment requirements – this role can fit around you however you wish.
