If so Let’s Connect are running a short fully funded safeTALK workshop to help people learn how to spot the signs of suicide and take action.
The safeTALK is a half day suicide prevention training course that can help you make a difference.
Taking place in the Redcar Racecourse on Friday the 6th of February 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

Training Description
Know what to do if someone’s suicidal by following the easy to remember TALK steps – Tell, Ask, Listen and Keep-safe.
These practical steps offer immediate help to someone having thoughts of suicide and helps you both move forward to connect with more specialised support.
In this training, you’ll learn how to:
- Recognise when someone may be thinking about suicide.
- Talk to them in a safe and supportive way.
- Connect them with help.
