Zetland FM – supporting local charities, organisations and groups

Zetland FM like to support local charities and organisations on air. You may have heard the Action Desk feature every hour from some charities and community groups they have already worked with.

The Action Desk feature is of a promo, approximately 40-45 seconds long, in which local charities/organisations tell them who they are and what they do/need and how the public can help. These then are broadcast throughout the day.

Zetland FM are consistently looking for new charities/organisations to take part and pop in to the studio to do a quick recorded interview for the feature.

When recording they will ask:

  • The name of your charity/organisation and where you are based?
  • What does your charity/organisation offer?
  • What does your charity/organisation need?
  • How can people volunteer or donate? (Ideally direct plug to social media/web page)

If you are interested in taking part just drop James a quick email and he will get back to you!
