Middlesbrough & Teesside Philanthropic Foundation – Golden Giveaway Funding Opportunity

Our Golden Giveaway is BACK!

After taking a break over the pandemic, we are now re-opening application for the golden giveaway.

We are GIVING AWAY £25,000!

Every penny will stay here on Teesside for the charities, community groups and schools who can best convince us and our supporters that they need it most.

Our £25,000 Golden Giveaway is back and will give 24 Teesside charities, schools, clubs or not for profit organisations a chance to share the cash.

They will each receive at least £500 – but they could win up to £5,000 if they receive more votes than their fellow charities in a public poll.

A selection panel of our patrons will face the tough task of choosing the 24-strong shortlist.
Supporters of the good causes will then have an opportunity to vote via the Foundation’s official Facebook page for the organisation they believe most deserves the money.

Here’s how the money will be split depending on where each group finishes in the voting:
1st place – £5,000
2nd place – £2,500
3rd and 4th place – £1,750
5th through to 8th – £1,500
9th through to 24th – £500

Applications open at noon on Monday 11th October 2021 and will close at noon on Monday 1st November 2021.
