Context of Role

Originally founded in 1991 The Junction Foundation is a well respected charity based in Tees Valley supporting children, young people (up to the age of 25) and families with additional challenges.

Role Description

The Junction Foundation is looking for Youth Support Workers with experience of working within an informal environment to join their street-based teams.

Purpose of the Role

Due to a number of developments, they are recruiting to a number of positions within their youth service. They are seeking Youth Support Workers with experience of working within an informal environment to join their street-based teams. Full training will be given but they are looking for people with experience in working with vulnerable young people to engage them in developmental opportunities.  They are looking for motivated, well organised and committed people with a passion and experience in supporting local children and young people and who enjoy learning new skills.
