Spring Activity Fund – Funding Opportunity for Registered Charities

Hi everyone!

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) have recently launched the Spring Activity Fund. It will help fund positive activities for young people during February’s half-term and the later Easter holidays across Cleveland.

Its aim is to provide young people with a range of activities to help combat antisocial behaviour (ASB) and focus young people’s minds on more positive pastimes.

If you know any charities or charitable foundations, who may wish to apply for this funding, please feel free to pass the details on!

The Police and Crime Commissioner’s Spring Activity Fund is supported by the Police Property Act Fund. As a result, anyone applying must be a registered charity. Charities can apply for up to £4,000 per project (maximum £2,000 per holiday period). Consortium bids where the lead bidder is a charity are welcomed. Consortium bids can apply for up to £8,000 per project (maximum £4,000 per holiday period).

Successful applicants must be prepared to give the OPCC a progress report, outlining how they have spent their grant and what difference it has made.

Deadline for applications is Sunday 14 January 2024.
