Context of Role

Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council is the local authority of Redcar and Cleveland.

Waiting Well is a programme offering targeted support to certain groups of patients waiting for surgery in the North East and North Cumbria.

Role Description

The Health & Wellbeing Coach (HWBC) will be a key member of a small multi-disciplinary team, supporting individuals across South Tees to improve their health and wellbeing in readiness for surgery and beyond.

The HWBC will use their coaching skills to empower individuals to identify, set and track personalised health and wellbeing goals on a 1-1 basis or via group sessions.

Purpose of the Role

This is an exciting new position within the team and as such you will be able to help shape and develop the role.

They are looking for someone with experience of working in a similar field, together with excellent people skills and a passion for helping people to lead healthier lives.

This post is initially fixed term for one year, however this may be extended subject to funding.
