Minute Taker Opportunity

The Grenfell Club are currently looking to recruit, an experienced, highly-skilled minute-taker to work with the board of trustees. This will be on an ad hoc basis. One board of trustees meeting every three months. The nature of meetings could be around HR issues, service meetings, child/adult protection and other meetings of a very confidential and sometimes difficult nature.

Suitable candidates will have considerable experience in minute-taking and able to maintain confidentiality and high accuracy. Shorthand knowledge of +60 WPM would be desirable.

Rate of pay is £10 per hour.

Free Armed Forces Mental Health First Aid

Redcar & Cleveland MIND have a 2 day AFMHFA course coming up in Redcar. The dates are Saturday 25th April & 9th May. People will need to attend both dates to complete the programme and gain their certificate. Although the course is aimed primarily at supporting people who have left the armed forces, it will be useful for anyone who wants to improve their general knowledge around mental health and support people in need of help. The course is free and open to anyone. Places are limited so please contact Nick on 01642 296052.
