NVQ Training

“My name is Sue Adamson and I am the Business Development Manager at Skills For Health Training Ltd which is a local business that specialises in, and is passionate about, quality training in the health and social care sector.

With the introduction of the new Care Certificate Framework from April 2015 (which I’m sure you are aware will replace the Common Induction Standards and the National Minimum Training standards) coupled with the Government proposals that all current care staff should be trained to a minimum of Level 2 in Health and Social Care with a nationally recognised (QCF) qualification, it is becoming increasingly difficult for organisations to be able to keep up to date with all the requirements whilst adhering to tighter budgets.

We are currently working with Bullion Lane Community Centre, Deacon Star in Bishop Auckland (an organisation giving support to vulnerable adults with learning difficulties) as well as a variety of residential care homes and are now in a position to widen our quality provision. We would be able to offer your organisation the opportunity to receive free Level 2, Level 3, level 4 and 5 training that would be designed to your own individual company’s needs and is employer led to meet the challenges of a new dawn in the training of health, care and support staff. This will mean that all staff and managers are prepared for the increase in the amount of quality care provision that will be required as our population increases and our mortality rates decrease.

We offer bespoke training that will not interfere with your staff’s day to day duties, as our academically and vocationally qualified trainers and assessors will meet your individual staff outside of their normal working hours. By offering your staff development opportunities, research as proven that staff feel more valued and motivated, this in turn has had a positive impact on retaining quality, well trained and experienced staff.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your training needs further.”
