People Movement Induction

Workforce Development have planned additional dates for People Movement Induction training sessions on 2nd September, 6th October, 16th November and 1st December. The venue will be Skelton Youth & Community Centre and will run 9am – 4pm.

Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering

To be held on 17th September and 25th November from 9am-4pm at Belmont House, Rectory Lane, Guisborough. See here for course aims and outcomes.

3 Day First Aid At Work

To be held on 8th,9th and 10th September from 9am-4pm at Skelton Youth Centre, Marske Lane, Skelton. See here for course aims and outcomes.

Local Sustainability Fund

Cabinet Office has now launched a £20 million Local Sustainability Fund to help around 250 voluntary organisations to secure their futures.

The Fund is aimed at voluntary sector organisations between the £100k and £1.5m mark and is now open.

The LSF journey starts with an online diagnostic tool which is designed both to determine eligibility for the fund and to reflect back a useful picture of organisational health to the user; the link is here http://vcsediagnostic.org.uk/.
